Reentry Simulations are an exercise used to replicate the first two weeks of returning to the community after incarceration. Participants will assume an assigned identity that includes their mock employment, living arrangements, relationship status, and more. Throughout the exercise, participants will navigate their mock reentry based on their identity and requirements of parole.

While replicating reentry is impossible without lived experience, this simulation is intended to broaden the thought process and reentry preparation for RISE participants preparing to return to the community.

This event is only open to RISE staff and volunteers with NDCS approval status.
