Please join RISE and organizational partners ACLU of Nebraska and Voices for Children in Nebraska for an important community discussion on a proposed bill that would lower the age to charge children in adult court to 12 years old, reduce the minimum age for detention to 11 years old, and allow youth to be held in detention during a mental health crisis.

We are continuing the great work we started with the previous national Day of Empathy with Dream.org, but now focused solely on Nebraska. The See Us RISE Lobby Day allows for Nebraskans to connect with their state senators to discuss criminal justice bills that impacts our communities.
