Attending a RISE In-Prison Event In support of Your loved One
Please read this IMPORTANT information guide entirely prior to attending the upcoming event.
Your loved one is excited to see you!
They have worked hard during the RISE In-Prison Program which consists of a curriculum based on character development, job readiness and entrepreneurship and are ready to graduate!
Important things to note upon your arrival:
Please read, sign, and submit the Attendee Release and Waiver of Liability Agreement here.
Upon entering the facility, you will be greeted by RISE staff member, Chantal Wentz. She will guide you through the check-in process.
All your belongings must go into a locker in the front of the building. Chantal will help you through this. Don’t forget to turn off your cell phones!
As part of the check-in process, the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) requires all visitors to be processed through a metal detector and receive a pat-down search.
What to Bring
A valid government/state-issued ID (driver’s license, state ID card, and passport are all acceptable). If you do not bring one, you will not be allowed into the facility and we will be so sad!
Car keys (these will be left in a locker provided at the facility)
What NOT to Bring
Please do not bring wallets, purses, cell phones, gum, chapstick, money, or any items other than those listed above.
Please leave at home, locked in the car, or locked in a facility locker.
