What started off as a weekly meetup of two RISE staff (Jeremy and Erica) eventually grew into a large group of volunteers, past RISE graduates, and curious community members simply looking to connect with each other. To say we love these weekly meetups is a complete understatement.

Not only is this a great time to meet new people, it's a great time to connect with each other. This is, by no means, a required gathering! But certainly welcomed! It's also nice to have your input on your piece of the pie when we visit with new people! And let's be honest...a little Friday morning social hour before the weekend is always enjoyed.

A little RISE & Shine staff etiquette #awkward:

• Be mindful that RISE & Shine is for our guests, first and foremost.

• Introduce yourself to people you don't know!

• Be prepared to talk about RISE and what you do! You can do it!

• Bring someone you know that hasn't engaged with us yet!

• Be cognizant of your beverage cost. We're working on a tight budget. PLEASE come have coffee...but maybe save the $14 latte and muffin for another time.
